post gobble

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I spent Thanksgiving with my roommate and her family.  It was so much fun especially when we all started playing games like Boggle, Catchphrase, and Encore.  There were so many fun memories, and I am very grateful for their generosity.  I made a set of turkey coasters for them and wrapped them in festive tissue paper and a happy acorn (or mushroom?) ornament.  It was the least I could do to show my appreciation.

The couple days off from school were enjoyable, but now it's the final push as I wrap up the semester in the next three weeks.  I'm busy as usual, but checklists are keeping me focused, and every day, I'm closer to Christmas festivities!  I can't wait!

p.s.  Have I mentioned lately that I can't wait to get a new camera?  But I don't know if I should get a Nikon or a Canon...I'll save that for another post.
