Prior to indulging in a cookies n' cream pizookie from BJ's in Carlsbad, we stopped across the street to try our hands at strawberry picking for the first time!
They were so cute and tiny although it was kind of slim pickings. Areum and I were determined to fill the $8.50 bucket so we delved deep into the fields while Josh and Kelly preferred to hang around the outskirts. None of us were really dressed appropriately for spontaneous strawberry picking (those bushes are spiny and sticky!), but it was certainly classic summertime fun.
