One day in November during band practice, Jenn and I had the idea to have a double date ice skating adventure! That soon evolved into a triple date + Marilyn + Richard rendezvous at Pershing Square rink followed by dinner at Soupplantation (a.k.a. Sweet Tomatoes).
The rink was smaller than we expected, and it was pretty crowded because it was Pershing Square's Holiday Extravaganza day. By the time we got there at 4, all the sessions had been sold out until 6 so we bought our tickets and passed the time at the Los Angeles Public Library- taking pictures in the garden, reading magazines and comics, and perusing the galleries.
I think this should be a new Christmas tradition!
